Owner Vince Tomlinson has spent most of his life in the field, beginning as a teenager working for his parents’ Ocean City business, Gleesons Audio Video. His passion and experience have shaped the foundation of Platinum Audio Video Solutions.
Vince’s stepson, Colby Carty, serves as an Audio Video Technician/Installer, bringing strong technical expertise and hands-on skill to every project.
Vince’s wife, Michele Tomlinson, manages the company’s accounting and administrative operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
The team also includes Vince’s father, Don Tomlinson, who contributes decades of industry knowledge. Don’s focus on customer care helps maintain the company’s trusted, family-first reputation.
Rounding out the team is Michael Wolak, a key member of the installation and programming department, whose expertise and technical capabilities support the company’s high standards for quality and performance.

As a teenager, Vince learned the industry from the ground up in his parents’ shop—assembling TV stands, stocking shelves, installing and programming systems, and eventually managing a busy AV retail storefront with a multimillion‑dollar sales team.
In 2011, driven to deliver a more personal, concierge‑level experience, Vince founded PAVS. From day one, the company grew through customer referrals and a reputation for quality work. Our passion is partnering closely with builders, homeowners, and subcontractors to design and deliver systems tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Today, we’re proud to enter a new chapter by welcoming Vince’s father, Don Tomlinson, and Michal Wolak—both from Gleesons Audio Video, a trusted name in the industry since 1969—to the Platinum Audio Video team. Their decades of experience strengthen our family‑first approach and deepen our bench of technical expertise.
